A decorative enamel magnet that sits on your fabric (held on by a second magnet you place on the back side of your fabric - magic ;) ) and holds your needle, your extra thread, your pattern, etc...  

These are made from enamel pendants here in Ottawa using strong magnets. Those needles aren't going anywhere.
